TI Automotive's Marysville Plant Receives Small Business Award

WARREN, Mich., Nov. 26, 2007 -- TI Automotive's Marysville, Mich., plant has received a 2007 Thomas Edison Business Award from the Port Huron Hospital Foundation.

The TI Automotive facility took top honors in the program's "small business" category, according to Bob Cook, plant manager. Thomas Edison Business Awards are presented in three categories: large business, small business and not-for-profit. Fifth Third Bank was the recipient in the "large business" category and "not-for-profit" honors went to Marwood Nursing and Rehab.

The Thomas Edison Business Award program recognizes businesses and organizations that "create an exceptional work environment for their employees and encourage individual work and life balance."

"This award recognizes TI Automotive's commitment to the well-bring of its employees not only here in Marysville, but throughout its global networks of facilities," said Cook. "The Thomas Edison Business Award is something that all of us at this facility can be proud of."
