ASUS Wraps up Four Prestigious 2008 International CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards

Mumbai, November 19, 2007 - The Consumer Electronics Show's Innovations Awards Team recently announced that four ASUS products have been chosen as recipients of International CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards for 2008. The Eee PC, the R50A ultra mobile PC (UMPC), the P527 cell phone, and the ASUS Internet Radio have each been so honored. The awards recognize "the most innovative consumer electronics (CE) products in the industry's hottest product categories. Innovations have become a hallmark for the best designed products in consumer technology.

ASUS' Internet Radio (AIR) provides users with the capability to tune in and listen to worldwide broadcasts over the Internet without the need for a PC. In the tradition of high end audio manufacturers like McIntosh, the ASUS Internet Radio (AIR) fuses a retro look with cutting edge technology.

AIR also allows incredible flexibility of content:


.           Users can conveniently tune in to the Internet via a simple
connection through a router or network and have access to about 10,000
worldwide broadcast stations.

.           AIR can also play MP3s from the user's MP3 players and can act
