Kyle Krisiloff, Lilly/Walgreens finish 25th at Phoenix Kyle Krisiloff posted a 25th place finish in the No. 14 Lilly/Walgreens Ford in the Arizona.Travel 200 on Saturday at Phoenix International Raceway.

After three successful practice sessions Friday to fine tune the No. 14 Lilly/Walgreens Ford, Krisiloff returned to the one-mile track on Saturday morning to qualify 34th. When the green flag waved for the start of the Arizona.Travel 200, Krisiloff was ready, gaining three positions during the opening 22 laps.

The caution flag waved for the fourth time on lap 43, setting the field up for a round of pit stops. Krisiloff came down pit road during lap 50 to receive four tires, fuel and a right side track bar adjustment to tighten up the loose racecar. On the lap 48 restart, Krisiloff had improved four positions to 29th.

As the track temperature began to cool, Krisiloff continued to improve, but struggled to stay in front of the leaders. On lap 106, Crew Chief Bryant Frazier radioed Krisiloff telling him to be patient, continue running smooth and focus on staying in position to get back on the lead lap.

During lap 141, Krisiloff was running 26th when he was tagged by another driver also battling to be the first car one lap down, resulting in minor damage to the right rear bumper of the No. 14 Lilly/Walgreens Ford.

Krisiloff was in 28th when a late three-car accident brought out the final caution of the race, setting up a green-white-checkered finish. Krisiloff picked up three positions on the lap 201 restart to finish 25th.

³We were hoping to finish better than 25th, but overall, the day was pretty good,² Krisiloff said. ³We were able to improve the car a lot throughout the race. When we started, the car was loose in the center. We made some track bar and air pressure adjustments trying to find the right combination to get the Lilly/Walgreens car where it needed to be. This is one of my favorite cars so I am glad we can take it back to the shop with only minor damages. The guys did a great job this weekend making improvements to the Lilly/Walgreens Ford. Now we will get ready for Homestead next weekend and look forward to getting a great finish in the last race of the season.²
