-FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Goodwin Dominates in SSP's Turkey 200 on Saturday Afternoon; Elliott, Bacchus, Gracey and Fink also Victorious

Newberrytown, PA (November 10, 2007) - The 4th Annual Turkey 200 on a cold and brisk Saturday afternoon at the Susquehanna Speedway Park had 30 entrants looking to pickup the victory and dethrone SSP Enduro King, Michael Goodwin. All challengers were unable to do that as Goodwin picked up his second consecutive Turkey 200 win by more than one lap over Kevin Beach, Jr. Glenn Elliott won the Classic Car feature and Paul Bacchus won the PENNMAR Vintage Car feature. Chad Gracey picked up the York Haven Auto Sales Mini Van feature event. Brandt Fink won the Great American School Bus race.

Jason Failor jumped out to lead the first three circuits of the 150 lap Turkey 200 Enduro race. Due to rising fuel prices, the race was reduced from 200 laps to 150 before the event began. Late Model Star Alan Sagi took the lead from Failor on the fourth lap. Early on the leaders weaved their way through lapped traffic. As Failor chased down Sagi, Tommy Slanker got by him and Sagi both to take the lead on lap 16. Sagi regained the top spot on the next circuit but dropped out of contention with mechanical problems on lap 20, turning the lead back over to Slanker. Slanker led the next 10 laps and once again Failor took the lead in heavy traffic.

Meanwhile, Michael Goodwin worked his way from a 12th place starting position to join the battle with Slanker and Failor. On the 34th lap, Failor slid high in traffic, retuning the lead back over to Slanker. Goodwin grabbed the lead from Slanker on the next lap and the two raced side-by-side, swapping the lead until a right rear flat sent Slanker to the pits on the 54th lap. Goodwin retook the lead and never looked back to win the 4th annual Turkey 200 with a one lap advantage over second palce finishe Kevin Beach, Jr. David Kamp finished third, also one lap down. Slanker rebounded to finish fourth, five laps down. Finishing a very impressive fifth was Jen Powell, the 2006 and 2007 Port Royal Speedway Powder Puff champion.

Bill Brown Sr. and Glenn Elliott race side-by-side and swapped the lead a few times during the 15-lap Classic Car feature event with Elliott finally taking the lead at the end and claiming the victory over Brown. Joe Alder finished third, followed by Brian Diehl and Kurt Welsh. Brown and Elliott both picked up the heat race wins.

Paul Bacchus led 9 out of 10 laps to pick up the PENNMAR Vintage Car feature event over Richard Pastor and Bill Spencer.

In the 10-lap York Haven Auto Sales Mini Van feature, Chad Gracey led all 10 laps to pick up his first career SSP Mini Van win over Jesse Hitz, Daryl Sipe, Jason Anderson and Brandon Hedstrom.

In the 10-lap Great American School Bus race, Brandt Fink jumped out to the lead on lap two and never looked back. Howard Ebaugh followed in a close second with Zack Beck finishing third.
