The endowment was announced during a keynote speech by Richard Chow-Wah, Chrysler LLC Vice President -- Powertrain Manufacturing to the Indiana Economic Club. The donation will go toward KIB's NeighborWoods program and the purchase of 200 trees for planting in 2008.

"We are pleased to assist Keep Indianapolis Beautiful with their goal of revitalizing the city for its residents and for visitors," said Brian Glowiak, Vice President of The Chrysler Foundation.
