Chrysler LLC, BEST Academy and KaBOOM! Join Forces to Build Playground for Students
-- Playground designed by students; built by volunteers -- Bob Nardelli, Chrysler Chairman and CEO, will participate in the community-building project What: More than 200 volunteers from The Chrysler Foundation and Business, Entrepreneurship, Science & Technology (BEST) Academy join organizers from KaBOOM! and residents of the Highland Park community to build a new, safe playground on the BEST Academy school grounds. The new playground's design is based on drawings provided by BEST Academy students who attended a Design Day event in October. The new playground will provide more than 500 children in the Highland Park community with a safe place to play.
