BARRETT-JACKSON NEW YEAR'S MARATHON LAUNCHES JANUARY AUCTION COVERAGE

NEW EPISODES OF BARRETT-JACKSON: LIFE ON THE BLOCK CAPTURE THE ACTION
'BEHIND THE AUCTION'

New Year's weekend will be filled with the sights and
sounds of the 2007 Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event, as a two-day
marathon will replay all the action as it unfolded last January at
WesWorld in Scottsdale, Ariz.

This year's marathon will be a complete reprise of last
year's stirring Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event from Scottsdale,
Ariz., topped by the record breaking $5 million dollar sale of Carroll
Shelby's personal 'Supersnake' 427 Cobra. In total, sales nearly reached
the $112 million mark, including four cars at or above the rarified $1
million threshold.

"In 2007, not only did the Shelby Cobra break the bank, but
the average price per car was up significantly." said Rick Miner, SPEED
SVP of Production & Operations. "We've never seen the bidding reach six
figures so quickly, for so many cars."

The block isn't the only place offering drama in Scottsdale,
as SPEED camera's once again got 'behind the auction' to create new
episodes for season three of Barrett-Jackson: Life on the Block. The
popular series, which follows Barrett-Jackson Chairman & CEO Craig
Jackson and Barrett-Jackson President Steve Davis as they work with
consigners and handle the 'everyday' issues that arise when hosting a
large scale event, begins Monday Nov. 26 at 9 p.m., ET/6 p.m. PT, and
runs through Monday, Jan. 7 at 9 p.m., ET/6 p.m. PT, prior to LIVE
auction coverage on SPEED.

"Just when you think you've seen it all, then there's season
three," Miner said. "From vehicles bursting into flames moments before
crossing the auction block, to cars being chained up by the consigner
after they were sold, this year's Life on the Block is even more
revealing than ever."
