SORENSON HELPS RAISE OVER $75,000 FOR CHARITY

Coming off of his career best NEXTEL Cup
Series finish with a third-place effort at his hometown track Atlanta
Motor Speedway, Reed Sorenson has something else to be proud of as well.
During the course of the week, he helped generate over $75,000 dollars
to be donated to Speedway Children's Charities, The Breast Cancer
Research Foundation and Project Pink House.

"It was a good week in a number of ways," said Sorenson still riding the emotions from his third-place finish at Atlanta. "To get my best finish in front of the hometown crowd means a lot to me, but more importantly we were able to raise money for some good causes."

On Wednesday, Oct. 24, Sorenson hosted his Inaugural Reed Sorenson Charity Golf Classic at White Water Creek Country Club in Fayetteville, Ga. The proceeds from the golf outing, that also included a silent and live auction, benefited the Speedway Children's Charities.

Additionally, Sorenson drove a pink car in Sunday's race at Atlanta Motor Speedway to help raise breast cancer awareness. Prior to the race he developed a donation pledge that his primary sponsor Target agreed to match. Sorenson also auctioned off his signed pink helmet and firesuit from the Atlanta race, with proceeds from the pledge and auction benefiting The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Project Pink House.

"I'm very fortunate to be racing cars for a living, and it's an honor to be able to help raise awareness and funds for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Project Pink House and the Children's Charities," said Sorenson. "We had a lot of fun this week at the course and at the track, and I hope this is a tradition that will last for many years to come. I expect next year to be even bigger and better. I just want to thank everyone that helped support all of these great efforts."

About BCRF

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation(r) was founded in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder as an independent, not-for-profit 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to funding innovative clinical and genetic research. The Foundation supports scientists at top universities and academic medical centers worldwide conducting the most advanced and promising breast cancer research that will lead to prevention and a cure in our lifetime. A minimum of 85 cents of each dollar donated to the Foundation goes directly to breast cancer research and awareness programs. In October 2007, $32 million was awarded to 151 scientists across the United States and in Canada, Latin America, the Middle East, and throughout Europe. Money magazine named BCRF one of America's eight top charities. And for the sixth consecutive year, BCRF received Charity Navigator's highest rating, four stars, thus outperforming over 99% of the evaluated charities. The BCRF is the only breast cancer organization in the U.S. to receive this accolade. For more information, visit www.bcrfcure.org or call 1.866.FIND.A.CURE.
