Mile Marker International, Inc. Announces Mi-Fi Winch Technology
POMPANO BEACH, Fla.--Mile Marker International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:MMRK), a specialty vehicle parts manufacturer and distributor, today announced the implementation of its Mi-Fi Winch Technology.
Richard E. Aho, Chairman of the Board of Directors, announced: “We are pleased to announce our successful introduction of our Mi-Fi Winch Technology into our industry at the Performance Warehouse Association conference in Phoenix, Arizona. Our marketing officers have met with several of our key customers and prospects to demonstrate the safety, control and precision of our variable speed winches with Mi-Fi Winch Technology utilizing M.O.S.F.E.T controls. We were extremely pleased with the positive response received from our customers, and we are gearing up our people and equipment resources to meet the anticipated substantial demand for these new products later this year and into 2008. After extensive development, we have invented the first and only infinite speed control for automotive high torque, high amp draw, 12 volt motors controlled by a minicomputer. Our Company has applied for additional patents for these products in 37 of the world’s industrialized nations as we believe this development is revolutionary for our industry. As a leading developer of innovative automotive technology over the past 25 years, including our patented hydraulic winch used for over 8 years by U.S. and foreign military forces, this development is perhaps the Company’s best engineering accomplishment to date.”
