Before the professional driver takes to The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Friday, the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series is taking over the Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas with a one-of-a-kind Fan Fest Thursday, Oct. 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. The Fan Fest, which promotes the Seventh annual ACDelco Las Vegas Nationals, will be located on 3rd Street, downtown Las Vegas, between the Four Queens Hotel and the Fitzgerald Casino. Will begins her quest for the NHRA ACDelco Las Vegas Nationals Top Fuel event title when Top Fuel qualifying gets underway on Friday at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. We are seeking a little redemption since The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is the site of our preseason testing crash back in January. We will all be supporting him as fights for the Countdown to the Championship." *QUALIFYING:* Nitro fuel cars begin qualifying for the Seventh annual NHRA ACDelco Las Vegas Nationals on Friday, Oct. 26, with two sessions at 2 and 4:30 p.m. (In each session, Funny Car is up first, followed by Top Fuel.) Qualifying for nitro fuel cars then conclude on Saturday, Oct. 27, with two sessions at 1:15 and 3 p.m. (The 1:15 p.m. sessions will be preceded by the first round of the Top Fuel Technicoat Shootout. Second round is 3:20 p.m. and the finals are at 4:45 p.m.) (On Saturday, Top Fuel starts each session, followed by Funny Car.)
