The Freedom vehicles also maximize performance from existing lead acid battery technology, ensuring a powerful and affordable product. While most companies are exploring lithium batteries, that technology is still new, unreliable and very costly.
“Our use of reliable lead-acid batteries ensures an affordable and powerful product. While other lead-acid electric vehicles travel between 20 and 50 miles per charge, our Freedom vehicles can exceed 100 miles in a single charge,” said Jim Hawes, CEO of Good Earth Electric Vehicles.
GEEV’s Freedom Buggy and Freedom Truck are also far more affordable on a performance basis than most of the competition.
The Alternative Car and Transportation Expo is an annual showcase of the leading companies in the clean energy transportation industry. This year’s expo will feature over 150 exhibits of the latest technologies including electric, natural gas, biodiesel, hydrogen, ethanol, propane and hybrid products. The expo will also feature several seminars and panels to debate the future of alternative transportation technologies.
