What: Team JBL competitor, Mike Bartells won his third consecutive first-place for the DB Drag Racing World Championship. On Oct. 13 - 14, 2007, DB Drag Racing invited a total of 445 contestants from North America and Europe to compete for Regional, National, and World Championship status in automotive sound. Bartells held his ground being honored as the reigning world record holder for the Extreme 3-4 class with a score of 179.1 db. Bartells' system consisted of four A6000 JBL amplifiers which have been the foundation of his championship system for the previous years. "Mike is one of the most dedicated competitors on the circuit; he is always working to make his system the loudest in the world," stated Team JBL Coordinator, Gary Biggs. "It was great being able to compete against the loudest vehicles across the globe, it's awesome to be a true World Champion."
