Goodyear Named Tire Supplier for International Truck

AKRON, Ohio, Oct. 11, 2007 -- The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company today said its commercial tires are now available for specification on all International Truck & Engines vehicles.
Goodyear said it has been named an International Truck primary tire supplier.
Steve McClellan, vice president of Goodyear commercial tire systems, said, "We are extremely pleased to have been chosen by International Truck for use on its long-haul trucks, regional delivery trucks, mixed-service trucks and buses."
Goodyear's fuel-efficient Fuel Max Technology tires and self-sealing DuraSeal mixed-service tires are eligible for selection by International Truck customers, McClellan said. The company's Fuel Max tires are standard equipment on the International ProStar family of tractors.
Goodyear commercial tires for International Truck are produced at company manufacturing facilities in Danville, Va., and Topeka, Kan.
