LONDON - October 9, 2007: Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has announced its quarterly sales figures, which show an increase of 22% in cars sold by the end of September 2007 compared to the same period last year, with demand for all models increasing. As a result, the company announced additional shifts and extended working hours at the manufacturing plant in Goodwood, UK which is working at full production, with forward orders for the four-door models and new Phantom Drophead Coupé extending through 2008.
Sales growth is expected to continue with the recent announcement that Rolls-Royce will build a series version of the two-door, four-seat experimental car, 101EX. Development for a new model series will start at the end of 2007.
