DETROIT - Oct. 8, 2007: Saturn, committed to health, fitness and healthy living in communities across the USA, is the new title sponsor for the health and fitness expo, held in conjunction with the 30th anniversary of the Detroit Free Press/Flagstar Marathon.
The Saturn Health and Fitness Expo, which runs Oct. 19-20 at Cobo Center, exemplifies that commitment. The expo will include vendors, informational booths and groups that provide services to runners.
The Detroit Free Press/Flagstar Marathon is one of the several key events Saturn supports. Its participation at 5k, 10k, half-marathons and marathons is part of Saturn's "Driven to Run" program, designed to help provide wonderful running experiences at approximately 100 running events across the USA.
Along with the "Driven to Run" program, Saturn has partnered with Rodale Publishing to provide a Web-based forum for athletes of all levels to communicate with each other on the latest health and fitness topics at findyourdetour.com.
In Detroit during marathon weekend, Saturn will showcase its 2007 sleek two-seat SKY(R) roadster; the European-inspired AURA(TM) sedan; the eight- passenger OUTLOOK(TM), a vehicle you can fit more in and fuel up less; and the highly adaptable VUE(R). Each of these vehicles demonstrates that Saturn is refined, dynamic and on the move. For more information, visit saturn.com.
