IndyCar Series star Castroneves still dancing Special delivery IndyCar Series magazine offers free digital subscription

1. IndyCar Series star Castroneves still dancing: IndyCar Series driver Helio Castroneves returns to the dance floor for the third round of “Dancing With The Stars” hoping to give another standout performance. Castroneves and his professional dancing partner Julianne Hough earned the highest score of the 11 celebrities on the ABC show in week 2. The couple will perform their third dance – the jive – during the third episode that airs at 8 p.m. (ET) Oct. 8. “Julianne has been trying to push me to my limit, and now it's a little beyond my limit,” Castroneves said of the fast-paced Jive. “But that's the type of the dance; there's not much you can do about it. But it's a team, and we're working together. We're looking very strong, and hopefully we're going to continue to be strong.” Castroneves and Hough, along with the other nine couples, will perform during the Oct. 8 episode. The result show will air on Oct. 9.

2. Special delivery: 2007 Indy Pro Series champion Alex Lloyd and his wife Samantha welcomed a daughter named Ava, on Oct. 5. Ava, the couple’s first child, weighed in at 6 pounds, 11 ounces and is doing well at home with her mother, according to her proud father. Lloyd is one of several IndyCar Series or Indy Pro Series drivers who have become or will become first-time dads during the offseason. Tony Kanaan’s son Leonardo was born Sept. 18. Ed Carpenter and his wife Heather are expecting their first child sometime this month and three-time IndyCar Series champion Sam Hornish Jr., and his wife Crystal are expecting their first child in February.
