As the first major auto show in the nation, the Orange County Auto Show has quickly become the premier auto event to view all the newest model vehicles. Additionally, the auto show is the best place for consumers to see nearly a dozen of the coolest concept cars hitting the auto show circuit, including the Chevrolet Volt concept, the first plug-in hybrid that can travel up to 640 miles on a full fuel tank, without recharging the battery. Other concept highlights include the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible, Ford Reflex, Hyundai Genesis, Saab Aero X and Suzuki Flix.

The Orange County Auto Show offers something for everyone including celebrity-owned vehicles; exotics, such as the West Coast debut of the Maserati GranTurismo; an off-road test track; customized rides; and vehicles galore. The auto show is also home to one of the nation's largest dedicated aftermarket displays -- Al & Ed's Autosound Auto Show Underground, where the latest in car personalization, mobile electronics and accessories collide with sport compacts, high-performance rides and luxury vehicles in a high-energy, club-like atmosphere.

Also, the Orange County Auto Show continues to be the best place for attendees to learn about alternative fuel technologies. The auto show has teamed up with the California Fuel Cell Partnership (CaFCP) to host a media and public ride and drive in several different hydrogen-powered vehicles, on Thursday, October 4, from 12 - 2 p.m.

The Orange County Auto Show is truly more than an auto show. Singles can come mingle during 8 Minute Speed Dating on Thursday and Friday evenings from 6 - 9 p.m. This year's show also features two Hawaiian Tropic bikini pageants, on both Friday, October 5 and Saturday, October 6.
