Autosport International (ASI), Europe's biggest and most important motorsport trade show, is set once more to bring the industry under one roof this January.

To date, hundreds of companies have secured exhibition space, from major international motorsport businesses to organisations in the industry's valuable supply chain.

Opening with two trade-only days on 10 and 11 January 2008, ASI is designed to facilitate business, with the latest technologies on show and ASI's Exhibitor and Business Lounges providing exclusive services for trade meetings.

"Autosport International has always been the best place to meet a variety of industry world leaders in one place over two days," said Gavin Brown, Managing Director, Haymarket Exhibitions, who has seen the show grow to a record-breaking size.

"The standard of exhibitor at the Birmingham NEC attracts visitors from all over the world and in 2007, the show facilitated more than £310m of business, so its value is growing year-on-year."

The latest exhibitors to reserve their places for 2008 include Race Engine Technology Magazine, Australian firm Dyno Dynamics, WAT Racing Development from Taiwan and Litestructures, the renowned stage & set manufacturer which has long been involved with the motorsport industry, designing and building pit perches, gantry structures and hospitality units for the top motorsport teams.

"This is the first time we've exhibited at ASI," said Litestructures Marketing Coordinator, Laurie Giraudeau. "We've provided a lot of exhibition stands for top companies at the show, but we decided to come ourselves this year, to show our capabilities to a wider audience. We think this show is the key for the market, especially to meet all the important customers and decision makers."

Race Engine Technology Magazine is a long-standing ASI exhibitor; Publisher Simon Moss says the show is essential to their business. "It's the leading event of its kind," he said. "Habitually, people buy subscriptions and back issues at ASI, so if we weren't there people would assume we no longer existed, I think!"

Other companies to sign up recently include: :: CGTech Ltd :: Tony James Component Wiring Ltd :: Aford Awards :: Brabourne Communications Limited :: Simplastics Ltd :: JM Toys Ltd :: Honeywell Consumer Product Group :: Simtech :: Farringdon Instruments Ltd :: HBM United Kingdom Ltd
