Senior Management Changes at Nissan North America
Ben Poore to Become Vice President, Marketing Communications
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 25 -- Effective Oct. 8, 2007 Ben Poore will become Vice President, Marketing Communications, Nissan North America, Inc., replacing Jan Thompson who left the company. Poore will be based at the company's headquarters in Nashville, TN. He will be responsible for the advertising, interactive marketing and marketing communications activities for both the Nissan and Infiniti brands.
Commenting on the changes, Mark McNabb, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing said: "I would like to recognize Jan for her contributions to the company and wish her every success in the future. I would like also to welcome Ben to our team. Ben has extensive international automotive experience. I look forward to his leadership for the Nissan and Infiniti Marketing Communications organization."
Poore has worked at Ford since 1994. While at Ford, he worked in marketing and sales positions in the U.S. and Central and South America. Most recently he was group marketing manager, Lincoln/Mercury Division and truck group marketing manager, Ford Division. Poore has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Delaware and an MBA from Duke University.
