THE RALLY SHOW at CHATSWORTH Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September 2007

All five competitive events are now full. Steve Perez (Clay Cross), former HRCR Historic and ANCRO National Rally Champion, to drive in three events. Mitsubishi Motors UK Team of Guy Wilks (Darlington) and Gwyndaf Evans (Dinas Mawddwy) to contest the stages on both Saturday and Sunday. Barry Clark (Ellon, Aberdeenshire) to demonstrate the M-Sport Ford Focus World Rally Car.

All five competitive events are now full, with latest entries coming from Steve Perez (2003 British Historic and 2004 National Rally Champion), Guy Wilks (2004 British Super 1600 Champion) and Gwyndaf Evans (1996 British Rally Champion).

Recently-crowned Fiesta Sporting Trophy International champion Barry Clark (25) has been chosen to demonstrate a 2006 BP-Ford Focus World Rally Car as a reward for his phenomenal dominance in the FSTi series, where he won all five championship rounds in a Stobart-backed Fiesta ST, partnered by Carlisle's Scott Martin.

THE RALLY SHOW FACTS & FIGURES

Two World and 12 British Rally Champions among the line-up of star names.

Four Monte Carlo Rally winners - Paddy Hopkirk (1964), Timo Makinen (1965), Rauno Aaltonen (1967) and Vic Elford (1968) will participate in the "History of Rallying" demonstration runs.

Five competitive rallies - two on Saturday, three on Sunday. Two different special stages - a 1.1-mile stage on Saturday, a 1.78-mile stage on Sunday. Both offer superb viewing opportunities.

Rally cars and Rally Legends from five decades, including the original Jaguar XK120 which won the 1953 RAC International Rally and Irish folk hero, Billy Coleman.

No fewer than 380 classic, historic, rally and road cars on display from 26 car clubs and registers, including Audi Quattro clubs from Wales and Scotland.

Demonstrations by the awesome bio-ethanol- fuelled Bowler Nemesis; the Honda Hybrid Rally car, the latter a development under the Energy Efficient Motor Sport (EEMS) programme; plus TV stunt-driver Russ Swift.

Two-wheel displays by Shane "Shakey" Byrne (former British Superbike Champion), along with Stobart VK Vent Axia team-mate Tom "Grinner" Sykes.

Informed commentary team of Gary Champion (Globecast Radio), Andrew Marriott (Sky motor sports presenter) and Graham Robson (author of over 100 motoring books and respected rally historian).

History of Rallying with 24 of the sport's most iconic rally cars, including some original examples.

Stage Sessions - full to capacity - have attracted gifted drivers and a wide variety of interesting cars, including Chesterfield's Jamie Sutherland in the XS Racing Porsche 911.

Main event sponsors are Renault UK and VK Vodka Kick (Chesterfield). Support sponsors include East Midlands LARSOA Group (Road Safety), ECM Timing Systems, Stancliffe Stone Co Ltd (Matlock), S&H Recovery Services Ltd.

SEGA RALLY will launch their latest computer game at The Rally Show.

Fly-past by the RAF Red Arrows at 12.50 on Saturday 29 September.

Correction to PR7: the Rauno Aaltonen Mini Cooper is owned and kindly loaned for the event by Peter Barker, who lives near Banbury.

Spectator tickets - available for either Saturday or Sunday, or for both days - can be purchased in advance. Tickets ordered before 18.00 on Friday 21 September will be posted. Later orders can be made via the website, but tickets will have to be collected at the entrance.

A pre-purchased, two-day adult ticket is £21, including an Official Programme worth £5. Children aged 9-16 pay reduced rates; children under 9 (when accompanied by an adult) are admitted free.
