SPECIAL EVENT (UK) - Autosport International Trade Visitor Registration now open online...
for Autosport International 2008, the largest and most important motorsport trade show in Europe, with more than 27,000 visitors expected to attend the two-day event.
Trade visitors are widely anticipated to exceed last year's attendance figure, with even more energy being put into attracting overseas guests, who last year amounted to more than 4,500 visitors from over 56 countries.
The government recognises Britain's position as the world leader in design and manufacturing for the motorsport industry and it is again involved by backing inward trade missions. The success of previous inward missions is that trade visitors are not just coming to the NEC to look at the latest products and ideas, but also to exhibit, with companies flying in from 56 countries for the 2007 show. Visitors from as far afield as Argentina, Australia and the vitally-important high-growth markets of India, Brazil and Russia were all in attendance.
One key area of focus for trade visitors remains Autosport Engineering, now in its 13th year, which covers all the latest innovations in the design and performance engineering of the myriad parts required in competition machinery. For 2008, it will again be joined by the Manufacturing Technology area, which focuses on the production engineering sector.
Autosport International dedicated trade days will run from Thursday 10 to Friday 11 January 2008 at the Birmingham NEC, with combined trade and public days on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 January 2008. Pre-registered ticket prices for members of the trade are £24 per person per day. The price includes the 2008 Trade Guide.
