NHRA (MEMPHIS) - Line hopes to get back on track at Memphis...
Jason Line, a Minnesota native who now calls Charlotte home, dug himself a hole at the recently completed Mac Tools U.S. Nationals, albeit a shallow hole that he feel he can get out of at this weekend's 20th annual NHRA O'Reilly Mid-South Nationals. At the U.S. Nationals over Labor Day weekend in Indianapolis, the first race of the Countdown to 4 segment of the four-race playoff in the overall Countdown to the Championship, Line suffered a first round defeat in his KB Racing LLC, Summit Racing Equipment Pontiac GTO that left the reigning Pro Stock champ sixth among the eight Pro Stock drivers that are vying for the 2007 Pro Stock Championship. "We sure didn't get a good start in the Countdown at Indy and now have some catching up to do at Memphis," reflected Line.
