GM continues to include hot washer fluid cleaning and de-icing system on platforms
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., Sept. 12 -- Microheat, Inc., a Tier-1 supplier to the automotive industry, announced that the Cadillac CTS features HotShot(R), the company's revolutionary hot washer fluid windshield cleaning and de-icing system. Microheat's patented technology is also featured on the Cadillac DTS.
In addition, HotShot(R) is currently featured in a variety of General Motors vehicles. "Cadillac represents the very best in luxury and the vehicle is an excellent showcase for the HotShot(R) heated washer fluid system," said Microheat President and CEO Gary Pilibosian. "GM continues to bring innovations to the marketplace that enhance customer satisfaction. The all-season, all-weather system can be activated at vehicle start-up and maintains hot fluid for use by drivers on demand during normal driving conditions. HotShot(R) clears the windshield in 90 seconds with the touch of a button, making ice scrapers and squeegees obsolete.
