SPECIAL EVENTS (LAGUNA BEACH) - PRI TRADE SHOW CONTINUES TO BUILD INTERNATIONAL AUDIENCE
International attendance has long been an important dynamic of the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show. As the show returns for its third straight year to Orlando, FL, representatives from more than
45 countries have made plans to attend the 20th annual show at the Orange County Convention Center,
Dec. 6-8, 2007.
A number of factors have contributed to the growth of international attendance. "For our exhibitors from other
countries, their participation in our show is due in part to the fact that the North American market is so huge, and they
see that many new business opportunities are available to them," said Francisque Savinien, PRI's International
Marketing Manager.
Organizers of the PRI Trade Show have gone to great lengths to reach new and existing international buyers and
guests by attending and exhibiting at trade shows in other countries and making presentations to their nation's
business councils. Savinien has visited Europe, Japan and South America in the past 12 months answering questions
and introducing businesses to the opportunities available at the 20th Annual PRI Trade Show.
"European karting companies are but one example of new companies entering our trade show and doing well from
a sales aspect," added Steve Lewis, the show's producer. "In total, we have approximately 1,450 exhibitors covering
more than 1,000,000 square feet of floor space, and international companies have become a major contributor to our show's overall success."
In addition, the show offers its popular International Lounge, with translators providing language assistance in
Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Japanese. With available conference rooms and the omnipresent
coffee machine, the area is located at the rear of the exhibit floor next to the Press Room.
Everything happens here first!
With more than 45,000 racing industry entrepreneurs in attendance from 45 countries, the three-day PRI Trade Show is timed
so that racing retailers, engine and car builders, wholesaler/distributors, professional race teams and other industry
participants can shop the latest new product introductions and have them in inventory for the next racing season.
