Kettering University in Flint Honors Nine Alumni with Distinguished Awards
FLINT, Mich.--The Alumni Association of Kettering University in Flint will honor the outstanding achievement of nine alumni Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Bulldog Days Alumni Reunion. The 2007 awardees are:
Richard Donnelly ’66 of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., retired General Motors International, will receive the Distinguished Alumnus Award recognizing specific and exceptional career achievement.
David Schlotterbeck ’70, chairman and CEO of Pharmaceuticals & Medical Products Clinical Technologies & Services of Cardinal Health in San Diego, Calif., will receive the Management Achievement Award recognizing a positive and lasting effect in the field of Management.
Raj Nair ’87 of Saline, Mich., executive director of Commodity Business Planning for Ford Motor Company will receive the Engineering Achievement Award recognizing a positive and lasting effect in the field of Engineering.
Rex Luzader ’71, vice president of Business Development for the Transportation Sector of Millennium Cell, Inc., in Eatontown, N.J., will receive the Engineering Achievement Award recognizing a positive and lasting effect in the field of Engineering.
Chet Huber ’77, president of General Motors Onstar in Troy, Mich., will receive the Entrepreneurial Achievement Award recognizing a specific contribution in organizing, managing and assuming the risk of business.
Allen Green ’71 of Clarkston, Mich., retired vice president and general director of Personnel General Motors of Canada, will receive the Human Relations Award recognizing a graduate who has rendered significant contributions inspiring unity.
Charles Butler ’49, retired from New York Life Insurance in Pearl, Miss., will receive the Civic Achievement Award recognizing significant and unselfish contributions that benefit the community.
Wendy Curcuri ’98, Michigan Sales & Marketing account manager for DENSO International America in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., will receive the Alumni Service Award recognizing outstanding volunteer service to Kettering University.
Marci McGuire ’96, a senior project engineer for General Motors in Milford, Mich., will receive the Young Alumni Award recognizing a graduate who has rendered significant contributions, exhibited outstanding character and has achieved marked success.
