CONCORD, N.C. (September 5, 2007) - Chip Ganassi Racing Teams, Inc.
(CGR), and Energizer Holdings, Inc. announced today a multi-year
extension to their long-lasting relationship that dates back over a
decade. Energizer will continue to showcase its brand as a major
associate sponsor on the No. 41 Target Dodge driven by Reed Sorenson in
the NEXTEL Cup Series and both Target Chip Ganassi Racing (TCGR) entries
in the IndyCar Series driven by current championship contender (second
place) and past champion Scott Dixon and 2005 Indianapolis 500 winner
and series champion Dan Wheldon beginning with the start of the 2008
racing season.
"We're thrilled to continue our long-lasting partnership with Target
Chip Ganassi Racing." said Jeff Ziminski, Chief Marketing Officer,

mutually beneficial and long-lasting relationships, and I can't think of
a better example than the one we've formed with Energizer. I'm proud to
be associated with such a respected organization and I look forward to
many more successful years together."
