TI Automotive Wins $154 Million in New Business

WARREN, Mich., Sept. 5 -- TI Automotive, a leading supplier to major automotive manufacturers, was awarded contracts totaling more than $154 million by six global automakers during the last three months.

TI Automotive's Fluid Carrying Systems group secured contracts with Ford, General Motors, The New Chrysler, PSA Peugeot Citroen, Toyota and Volkswagen, according to Rich Kolpasky, the company's president of Fluid Carrying Systems.

Production of air conditioner lines, brake and fuel lines, power steering lines and tank-top lines under the new supply agreements will take place at a number of TI Automotive facilities throughout the world, including plants in Jablonec, Czech Republic; Reynosa, Mexico; San Jose dos Campos, Brazil, and Shanghai, China.

"The new contracts are important 'wins' for us," said Kolpasky. "They further strengthen our position as an industry leader. I am proud of the continued commitment shown by our employees around the world, at all levels, in securing these new business awards."
