Subaru Hosts Grand Opening Ceremony for New Indianapolis Regional Parts Distribution and Repackaging Center

WHAT: Subaru of America, Inc. will host a grand opening and ribbon
cutting ceremony for its new, state-of-the-art parts distribution
and repacking center. Earlier this year, Subaru signed a multi-
year lease for 281,880 square feet at Park 267. Located outside of
Indianapolis in Whitestown, Indiana, the 501,120-square-foot
modern bulk distribution building was recently completed by a
          Browning/ProLogis joint venture.

Subaru has a long history of doing business in Indiana. In fact,
Subaru of Indiana Automotive, in Lafayette, is celebrating its 20-
year anniversary in Sept., where more than half of all Subaru
vehicles sold in the U.S. are built including the Subaru Legacy,
          Outback and Tribeca.

The new Whitestown center's proximity to the Subaru manufacturing
plant, provides an advantage in terms of logistics efficiency and
synergy. The company gains significant additional square footage
for future growth and increased flexibility for warehousing
          operations.

The building is located at I-65 between State Road 267 and State
Road 334 in Whitestown, Indiana with easy access to Interstates
          465, 70 and 74. The cross-docked facility features a 36-foot clear
          height, 58' x 42' column spacing, 50 trailer parking spaces and a
          large truck court.

Executives and representatives from Subaru of America, Inc., its
parent company Fuji Heavy Industries, Ltd., and Subaru of Indiana
Automotive will be on hand for brief remarks, luncheon and a tour
          of the new facility.
