MADD Florida Names New State Council Members
TAMPA, Fla.--Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Florida has recently released the names of their new State Operating Council.
“I’m exceptionally pleased that MADD Florida has been successful in attracting a number of highly experienced, qualified and successful professionals to assist our mission to Stop Drunk Driving, Prevent Underage Drinking and Serve the victims of DUI crashes,” said Don Murray, MADD Florida’s Executive Director and CEO.
Mr. Mario Murgado from Miami now chairs MADD’s newly formed State Council. Mr. Robert (Bob) Shearouse is leading the Public Policy Committee and Mrs. Laura Dean Mooney Chairs the Leadership Committee. Mrs. Joyce Dorfman is Chair of the Finance Committee and Mrs. Karolyn Nunnallee is serving as a member at large.
Mr. Diego Asencio Jr. is Chairing MADD’s first Multi Cultural Initiative Committee in the nation and Mrs. Karen Hernandez is head of MADD’s first Committee Prevention and Youth Services committee.
Retired U.S. Ambassador, Diego Asencio Sr. is serving as a Member at Large, also with an interest in multi-cultural initiatives.
