Subaru Reports August 2007 Sales

CHERRY HILL, N.J., Sept. 4 -- Subaru of America, Inc. today reported August sales of 16,573 total units. Sales of the redesigned 2008 Subaru Tribeca were up 33 percent from the same month last year.
"We are pleased to see sales of the redesigned 2008 Subaru Tribeca up one third over last year," said Tim Colbeck, vice president of sales, Subaru of America, Inc. "With more style, more power and enhanced fuel efficiency, our customers are finding the new Tribeca a tremendous value in the marketplace."
Subaru Tribeca sales posted 1,835 units in August. Subaru Legacy recorded 6,432 unit sales, while the Outback accounted for 4,448 units of that line for the month. Subaru Forester recorded an August total of 3,902 units, while the Subaru Impreza line posted 4,393 units for the month. The discontinued Subaru Baja also recorded 11 units in August.
