TIRE & WHEEL CENTER SUPER STOCKS TOO

BLOOMINGTON, IN (September 2, 2007) - Bloomington Speedway will host another night of exciting racing action on Friday, September 14. For the first time ever we will be featuring our O'Neal Wood Products Modifieds topless. We will be able to really watch the drivers work at their craft. It will be fun to watch Kent Robinson, Shelby Miles, Jesse Cramer, the DeMoss's, Ray Humphrey, and the rest of our great O'Neal Wood Products Modified drivers sawing on the wheel as they battle against each other for the all-important points toward the season championship. The modified points leaders going into September 14 racing are: 1. Kent Robinson (887), 2. Shelby Miles (880), 3. Jesse Cramer (814), 4. Greg Amick (784), 5. Josh Eads (716), 6. Matt Boknecht (678), 7. Clint DeMoss (669), 8. Matt Bex (667), 9. Brian Yeatman (664), 10. Chad Combs (651). While it seems very likely that we'll have a repeat O'Neal Wood Products modified champion, there are some new guys with a good shot at making their way into the top ten.

This special show will offer a nice payday for the fortunate winner. The feature will pay $1,500 to win and $100 to start with the proper decals. On top of that there will be lap prize money. This should fill the pits. After all, it will probably only take a quarters worth of gas to cut the roof off of the modifieds.

The Safety-Kleen sprint cars will also be in competition again after taking a couple of weeks off to celebrate the Labor Day holiday and to attend the World 100. The September 14 race will be the start of the two race dash to the points championship. The top ten in points going into the September 14 race are: 1. Jeff Bland, Jr. (612), 2. Danny Holtsclaw (571), 3. Jon Sciscoe (565), 4. Bobby Stines (547), 5. Chris Babcock (460), 6. Chad Boat (436), 7. Ty Deckard (434), 8. Kenny Niflis (405), 9. Cole Whitt (402), 10. Arin McIntosh (399).

The Tire & Wheel Center super stocks will be tuning up for the September 21st race when they will also be running topless and for the big prize money in their special show. Their points race is also coming down to the wire. They will, of course, also be battling for dominance in their division. The super stock points leaders are: 1. Jeremy Hines (803), 2. Troy Clark (712), 3. Joe Lucas (695), 4. Chris Hillman (673), 5. Jack Frye (673), 6. Travis Todd (665), 7. Travis Howe (661), 8. Winston Howe (646), 9. Steve Hollars (615), 10. Josh Burton (610),

Don't miss this exciting night of racing!!!!

There should be plenty of Tire & Wheel Center super stocks too as they will be tuning up for their September 21st topless race; and, of course, they will be working to improve their year end points standing.

Pit gates will open at 4:30 PM, the grandstand gates will open at 5:30 PM, hot laps will start at 6:30 PM, and racing will begin at 7:30 PM. General admission is $12 for this event (children 12 and under are admitted free to the grandstand when accompanied by a paying adult); and pit admission is $25. Coolers are permitted; but glass containers aren't. Overnight camping is also permitted.
