We weren't the fastest car out there, but sometimes - especially on street courses -- it is survival of the fittest and the luckiest. I definitely caught my share of bad luck with two separate incidents, but we managed to keep it going. Everybody on the Motorola team did a great job today and congratulations to Tony for coming home with the win." Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone "I'm going to enjoy this win and celebrate tonight with the Team 7-Eleven crew. They did a great job today. George (Klotz) and Brian (Page) made a real tough call and it worked. This was a real team effort and I'm happy for the guys. I was never out of the championship and now I'm right in the hunt with Dario (Franchitti) and Scott (Dixon). It's obviously going to be very difficult but I want to win this thing." Marco Andretti, #26 NYSE Dallara/Honda/Firestone "We've experienced this (shifter issue) before and that's what's disappointing because I was stuck in third gear. It's just been one of those years for us. The NYSE car was alright but I could feel the cable start to go pretty early so I was fighting it most of the race. The track was physical but once you settled in and hit your marks it was no big deal, but I think that's still pretty hard on the car and I think it had something to do with our problem." Dario Franchitti, #27 Canadian Club Dallara/Honda/Firestone "The Canadian Club car was very fast today. When we were running behind Helio (Castroneves), we were able to save fuel and still run up front. We got in traffic at one point and we couldn't make anything happen. It was so difficult to pass. We just had to save as much fuel as we could and wait for those in front of us to pit. We were running lap times three seconds faster than some of those in front of us, but just couldn't pass. Then coming to the end, Buddy (Rice) ran out of fuel and Scott (Dixon) had contact with Buddy and spun around and collected me. To my knowledge, no yellow flag had been given, so the safety guys couldn't come on the track to help me reverse and get into gear. So, I was just sitting there.
