Imation Corp, a worldwide leader in removable data storage, announced today a record four cars bearing the Memorex brand will compete in three stock car touring series events this weekend as part of its partnership with Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates (CGRFS).

As the primary sponsor of the No. 41 Memorex Dodge in the NASCAR Busch Series (NBS), Imation has the rare opportunity to feature two Memorex Dodges in five races, beginning with the NBS Camping World 300 on Saturday, Sept. 1, in Fontana, Calif. The Memorex brand also will adorn the No. 40 ARCA car in tonight's ARCA RE/MAX Series race in St. Louis, and the upper-rear quarter panels of the No. 41 Target Dodge in Sunday's Sharp AQUOS 500 in Fontana.

"It's a great opportunity for Memorex to be showcased in two of the three major NASCAR touring series races this weekend," said Frank Russomanno, president and CEO of Imation. "Connecting the number one brand of recordable media with the fastest-growing sport in America is a true win-win. We look forward to seeing the Memorex Dodge pull double duty in several events this season."

Under an agreement with Team Red Bull and CGRFS, emerging NASCAR NEXTEL Cup driver A.J. Allmendinger will pilot the No. 42 Memorex Dodge through the middle of October. CGRFS driver Reed Sorenson will drive the No. 41 Memorex Dodge in Fontana before young racing phenomenon Bryan Clauson takes the wheel for the majority of the NBS season's remaining races.

"We're thrilled to have race fans 'seeing double' as two Memorex cars battle for the checkered flag," said team owner Chip Ganassi. "Chip Ganassi Racing values the relationships with its partners, and it was without hesitation that we wanted Memorex, one of the world's leading brands, to sport a second car in upcoming races."

Clauson's ARCA run in the No. 40 Memorex Dodge at Gateway International Raceway will be broadcast LIVE at 9 p.m. EDT tonight on SPEED (TV). The NBS Camping World 300, featuring the No. 41 and No. 42 Memorex Dodges, is scheduled to start at 10 p.m. EDT, Saturday, Sept. 1, and will broadcast live on ESPN2, MRN radio and Sirius Satellite Radio channel 128. Then, Sunday's NASCAR NEXTEL Cup race, which will include the No. 41 Target Dodge with Memorex on board, is set to go green at 8 p.m. EDT. The race will broadcast live on ESPN, MRN radio and Sirius Satellite Radio channel 128.
