Three Podium Finishes in Two Days

600 Racing Legends for Causey Racing - Casey Wyatt and his Causey Racing team owners are thrilled with his performance this weekend; especially since he wasn't planning to compete for them until Thursday night.

Southside Speedway, Midlothian VA: Friday night, Casey made only his third appearance in the Legends series. In the heat race he came to the stripe in third position which relegated him to a fifth place starting position for the feature. After the start of the feature, Casey quickly moved to the third position, which is where he would complete his second run of the evening. Casey has finished on the podium in every feature event since he began racing for Causey Racing at Southside Speedway.

Langley Speedway, Hampton VA: Saturday night, Casey turned off his best qualifying effort in the Legend series. Starting fourth is never a racers favorite place to be- the outside. By lap two, he had secured the third position. As the heat came to the tires, it was very clear that he had his best ride yet ahead of him in the Legend Series at Langley Speedway.

His long run momentum was marred by cautions and his admitted need to perfect his restarts. However, his car was the fastest when the checkers flew and no one doubts that had he been able to roll on caution free, he would have been a strong contender for the victory. Casey stated "WOW this car was awesome. I definitely had a run when I could keep the heat in the tires. I really need to work on my restarts, these guys have tons of experience with restarts and it showed tonight. I'll work on it though. We'll get us one real soon!"

Casey would like to thank Dee Causey and Causey Racing for the opportunity to race for them in the 600 Racing Legends series. He would also like to thank his sponsors CBX Custom Modulars, ATI (Automotive Technology Institute), Ductworx, Advanced Custom Coatings, The Pizza Shop and Oyster Point Title.

Casey Wyatt is a rookie in the NASCAR Busch East series for Wyatt Motorsports, whom competes as part of a three kart Pro-Winged Champ Kart team owned by Bill Mullis, a two car Whelen All-American Late Model team owned by Butch Britt.
