AAA Leadership Help City Prepare for Grand Prix through Hands-on Volunteer Work

  WHAT:    AAA Michigan Leadership will do general clean-up in Gabriel
           Richard and Mt. Elliott parks as part of their "day of service"
           activities, as they join the Downtown Detroit Partnership's Clean
           Downtown project to help put finishing touches on the city in
           time for the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix scheduled over Labor
           Day weekend.

  WHEN:    Wednesday, August 29 / 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.

  WHERE:   The majority of the workers will be at Gabriel Richard Park, on
           Jefferson Avenue, near bridge/entrance to Belle Isle.

  WHO:     More than 40 AAA Michigan vice presidents, district managers, and
           directors will shed those titles for that of crew member as part
           of this project.

  WHY:     AAA has a strong history of volunteer service and stresses this
           and other core corporate values in the communities where its
           employees and members live and work.  AAA is the volunteer
           sponsor for the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix and more than 125
           AAA Michigan employees will volunteer as courtesy shuttle workers
           during Grand Prix weekend.
