“We’ll take that. We only had three laps of practice because of the problem
with the primary motor. We made some excellent strides in qualifying today.
I over drove the first corner on the second lap, so we just did a one and
done. The car is a little tight, but it’s a long race tomorrow, we’ll have time
to adjust. I’m glad we’re starting on the bottom; it’s an advantage here at
The Milwaukee Mile. I’m proud of everyone on the BlackJack Racing team today
for all their hard work. We’re looking forward to the race tomorrow.??

“Congratulations to Michael McDowell (pole sitter). I thought we had a car
that was good enough for the pole, but we came up a little short. I’m proud of
everyone on the Country Joe Racing team. We are always fast and that’s a
good feeling. The car is great, a little tight, but we can work on it. I am not
going to complain. I am looking forward to the race tomorrow.??
DOMINICK CASOLA, NO. 1 A. CASOLA FARMS FORD FUSION:

“We picked up nearly a second from practice, so that’s a good thing. The
car is better, so I’m happy about that. We still have a little work to do
tomorrow, but it’s a long race. We’ll try and use some pit strategy and put
ourselves in a good position for the race. Thanks to my sponsor A. Casola Farms
and my team for all their support and hard work, we are going to give it our
all tomorrow.??
DUSTIN DELANEY, NO. 48 FREEFEDS.ORG DODGE CHARGER

**NOTE: Delaney suffered clutch issues during his ARCA SIM Factory pole
qualifying attempt. The Carter-2-Motorsports team will arrive in the garage early
on Sunday morning and fix the problem before the start of the Governor’s Cup
200**
“Obviously this is disappointing. We thought we would have a good qualifying
run. We changed a lot of things after practice which would have helped us.
The Carter-2-Motorsports guys never give up though, we’ll get this fixed and
focused on the race. It’s a little hairy starting in the back, but it’s a
long race and it’s going to take patience. We’ll be fine. I just want to thank
everyone at Carter-2-Motorsports and my sponsor FreeFeds.org for this
opportunity.??
JAKE FRANCIS, NO. 61 FRANCIS ENGINEERING, HABCO TOOL & DEVELOPMENT

“We found a second, so that’s always good. We are meeting all of our goals
here this weekend at The Milwaukee Mile. I’m really proud of my guys. This is
our first race together and we’ve gelled really well. We weren't really sure
where we would end up in practice or the starting grid, but we’re looking
solid. Patience equals success tomorrow and we plan to be near the front at the
drop of the checkered flag tomorrow.??
MIKE HARMON, NO. 38 JUST1SHIRT.COM-RICHARDSON-NETZLOFF-HARMON RACING

“We picked up a little bit, but we’re not starting as close to the front
like we wanted. We’ll just have to dig during the race and try and have a good
race. We need to put our team back on track following the disappointment at
Springfield and I feel this is a place we can do it. It’s a long race, but I
am ready.??
JULIAN PENARULZ, NO. 93 RED OIL JEANS-CATCHIT CAM CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO

Starting Position: 31
“We picked up a lot of speed and that’s a good thing. We are going to find
some more, I promise you that. The guys repaired the issue with the motor and
the brakes are fixed. Using my head tomorrow will result in a good finish
for this team and my sponsors Red Oil Jeans and Catchit Cam. This will be my
first career ARCA RE/MAX Series start, so I really want to make the best of it.??
PATRICK SHELTRA, NO. 60 CP CONCRETE PRODUCTS, US CONSTRUCTION,
FLORAGANICS-BRADY RANCH CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO SS
Practice Time: 17th (31.522 seconds, 114.206 MPH)
Qualifying Draw: 24/41
Qualifying Time: 30.646 seconds, 117.470 MPH
Qualifying Position: 11
Starting Position: 11
“The car is good. We picked up a little bit, so I am glad about that. We’re
fighting a little bit of a handling issue with the car, but I think when the
race rolls around tomorrow, we’ll be a-okay. My Sheltra Motorsports team didn
’t disappoint me, so I have to give them some of the credit for our success
in qualifying. It’s a long race tomorrow, so I am just going to take my time
and be around for the last fifty laps or so. Another top-three finish would
mean a lot to this team tomorrow and that’s our goal.??
BRYAN SILAS, NO. 11 NORTRAX-SHELL ROTELLA T CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO
Practice Time: 14th (31.413 seconds, 114.602 MPH)

Qualifying Time: 30.830 seconds, 116.769 MPH
Qualifying Position: 14
Starting Position: 14
“We’re fine. The car is in good shape and we are going to be in awesome
shape in race trim. This is a big race for me. We’ll have a lot of support from
Nortrax tomorrow, so I really want to put together a good run. I know we can
do that. We ran well here last year finishing in the top-20, but I’m looking
for another top-10 finish tomorrow and I think with the support and guidance
of my Fast Track Racing team, we’ll make that a reality.??
BILLY TANNER, NO. 07 CHEAPCARIBBEAN.COM CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO SS
Practice Time: 31st (32.970 seconds, 109.190 MPH)
Qualifying Draw: 6/41
Qualifying Time: 32.099 seconds, 112.153 MPH
Qualifying Position: 28
Starting Position: 28
“We’re still tight, but I’m confident in our race setup tomorrow. It’s a
long race. We need to have a good run tomorrow, we’ve been through a lot this
season and had a good run go bad last weekend at Springfield, so we want to
make up for it tomorrow afternoon. I’m not worried; we’ve been in this
position before (starting in the back) and been able to rally to the front. I know
we’ll be able to do that again tomorrow.??
