BMW Financial Services Ranks Highest in Dealer Satisfaction for J.D. Power and Associates for Fourth Consecutive Year
WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J., Aug. 24, 2007: For the fourth consecutive year, BMW Financial Services (BMW FS) ranked highest in dealer satisfaction for retail leasing in the J.D. Power and Associates Dealer Financing Satisfaction Study(SM).
BMW Financial Services provides financial services to more than 625,000 customers in the United States and leases or finances more than half of the new BMW vehicles sold there.
In the retail leasing category, BMW FS ranks the highest in all four retail leasing factors: Offering, Personnel, Application/Approval Process and Termination, according to the J.D. Power and Associates study.
"This highest ranking recognizes our consistently high performance in an area that represents a significant part of our business," said Edward A. Robinson, President and Chief Executive Officer of BMW Financial Services, Americas Region. "We are proud that our high standards and commitment to our dealer network have been recognized for the fourth consecutive year. Our dealer relationships are the foundation of our business success."
Initiated in 1994, the J.D. Power and Associates' Dealer Financing Satisfaction Study is conducted annually. The study's core objectives include identifying factors that affect dealer satisfaction, enabling financial providers to assess their strengths and weaknesses in satisfying dealers' financing needs and demonstrating trends of automotive financing satisfaction.
