Reed Sorenson and the No. 41 Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit® Dodge Team Facts:

· Thank you, Wrigley!: The No. 41 Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates (CGRFS) Dodge will carry the bright yellow color of Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit one last time this season at Michigan International Speedway (MIS). The Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company entered its first year as a NASCAR sponsor, starting with the NASCAR Busch and NEXTEL Cup Series races at Daytona International Speedway in February. It has been quite a ride for the global gum manufacturer and confectionary leader, especially for the No. 41 Wrigley’s Busch team. Together the Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit and Wrigley’s Winterfresh® brands collected one win, two poles, three top-five finishes and six top-10 finishes in 24 Busch Series starts to date. In addition to Busch competition, the No. 42 Wrigley Big Red® Dodge has made two starts in NEXTEL Cup competition with a third start coming in a few weeks at California Speedway.

· That was Sweet!: Reed Sorenson will climb back behind the wheel of the No. 41 Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit Dodge this weekend to make one more run for the sweet chewing gum sponsor this 2007 season at MIS. The last time Sorenson raced the Juicy Fruit car was at Gateway International Raceway (GIR) in July, when he scored his third career NASCAR Busch Series (NBS) victory. It was a sweet win quite literally as he pulled the Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit car into Victory Lane, which also marked his second win at Gateway. He scored his first win at GIR in 2005. Sorenson won last month’s race starting from the outside pole. He then led a total of 95 laps en route to victory.

· Standings Update: The No. 41 CGRFS Busch team now stands 14th in the overall NBS owner standings. It is just 112 points outside the top 10.

· Clauson Scores Another Runner-up Finish: CGRFS development driver Bryan Clauson and the No. 40 Memorex Dodge put forth a strong effort Saturday at Nashville Superspeedway, qualifying eighth to start the 150-mile ARCA/REMAX competition and then led a total of 32 laps throughout the race eventually scoring a second-place finish. In the closing laps, Clauson battled to hold off eight-time ARCA/REMAX champion Frank Kimmel to finish runner-up to race winner Jeremy Clements. Saturday’s run marked Clauson’s fourth ARCA start and also the second time this year he has scored a runner-up finish in ARCA competition. Clauson scored a second-place finish in his career-first ARCA start at USA International Speedway in Lakeland, Fla., in March. Altogether, he has tallied three top-five, three top-10 and four top-15 finishes in four starts. He has maintained a top-15 start and finish record in all four efforts. Clauson is scheduled to make his next ARCA/REMAX start Friday, August 31, at Gateway International Raceway. The 120-lap race is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. ET and will broadcast live on SPEED (TV).

· CGRFS Going Primetime: ABC’s NASCAR in Primetime: An Inside Look at Life in the Fast Lane, is the first time NASCAR has given any news organization uncensored access to its inner workings. ABC News spent six months following drivers and teams (including CGRFS), fans and officials, documenting everything that happened on and off the race track. The five-week, five-episode series begins tonight on ABC (10 p.m. ET) and continues for five consecutive weeks.

· Chassis: Crew chief Brad Parrott and the No. 41 Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit team will race chassis #557 this weekend at MIS in Saturday’s Carfax 250. The car has only been entered in one other race this year and that was at Lowe’s Motor Speedway this past May where it ran as the No. 42 Texaco/Havoline Dodge with Juan Pablo Montoya behind the wheel (started 37th, finished 40th).

· When to Watch: The NBS Carfax 250 is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday, August 18, and will broadcast live on ESPN2, MRN radio and Sirius Satellite Radio channel 128. Qualifying for the 126-lap competition is scheduled to start at 11:10 a.m. ET Saturday and will be broadcast live on SPEED (TV).
