Toyota Motor Sales USA Appoints New Vice President for Legal Services

TORRANCE, Calif., Aug. 7, 2007 -- Toyota Motor Sales, (TMS) U.S.A. Inc. today announced the appointment of Chris Reynolds to vice president, business law, in the legal services group of TMS. In this role, Reynolds oversees the groups responsible for advertising compliance, antitrust, business litigation, business transactions and contacts, dealer relations, intellectual property, privacy and strategic initiatives. He reports to TMS Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Environmental Officer Dian Ogilvie.

Before joining Toyota, Reynolds was a partner and trial lawyer at the law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, including chair of the firm's diversity committee. Earlier, Reynolds served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office, Southern District of New York. Before that, he worked as a litigator at the firm of Hughes Hubbard & Reed and as a law clerk for Judge Damon J. Keith, 6th U.S. Court of Appeals in Detroit, Michigan. Reynolds earned his law degree from Harvard Law School and his bachelor's degree in political science from Kalamazoo College.
