Airtrax Announces Two Engineering Hires

BLACKWOOD, N.J., Aug. 7, 2007 -- Airtrax, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: AITX) , a developer of patented Omni-Directional technology with military and commercial applications, today announced that it has hired two engineers, Adam Schuman and Braheem Santos, to augment its Omni-Directional vehicle design team.

Mr. Schuman has extensive experience in varied hardware and software design, development and testing. Most recently employed by DPI of Essington, Pennsylvania, Mr. Schuman was involved in the design and development of 2 quarter-ton Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV's) that executed several autonomous flight milestones as part of a US Department of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and Boeing Future Combat Systems contract. In addition, Mr. Schuman has worked on various robotics projects including the Mars Smart Lander Drill and Rock Abrasion Tool for Honeybee Robotics of New York, and on fundamental robotics research in the General Robotics, Automation, Sensing and Perception Lab at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Schuman is an electrical engineering graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Santos joins Airtrax from York/JCI of Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, where he served as a Project Engineer, working with customers on mechanical equipment installation and service projects. Mr. Santos has also worked in mechanical design and project management for Opex Corporation, Williard, Inc., and Kimbal Glass Co. on projects as varied as mail sorting equipment and industrial visual inspection systems. Mr. Santos is a mechanical engineering graduate of Drexel University.

Nicholas Fenelli, Airtrax's chief of operations, stated, "We are extremely pleased to have these two very experienced and highly motivated individuals join Airtrax's team. Recent interest in our MP2 products, following the successful deployment of the Israeli Air Force prototype, has prompted management to expand our team of engineers. Additionally, this new talent will free up existing resources to focus on bringing the COBRA(TM) family of Aerial Work Platforms to market."

Mr. Fenelli continued, "Adam's experience has already proven quite valuable in discussions with several defense contractors who have expressed interest in transporting UAV's on our equipment. I believe Braheem's experience in communicating with customers on a project basis, and translating their needs into the final product will be equally valuable as we move these and other projects, from the proposal phase through development and implementation."

About Airtrax, Inc.:
