Danica Patrick, #7 Motorola Dallara/Honda/Firestone "Our qualifying run was pretty typical for what we've been getting on the ovals this year with the Motorola car. The car felt fine; it felt good. But, it just didn't go as fast as we needed it to. I've got to figure out why that is and be able to qualify up higher. Hopefully, we can find an answer for the last two ovals this year. For tomorrow, it's just going to be very important to be up front and with the group because it is going to be hard to pass with everybody so close in speed."

Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone "I don't know what happened during the first attempt, but we still had the same problem during the second one. I couldn't do anything. It's a shame because we had a good qualifying setup for the Team 7-Eleven car. Dario (Franchitti) is doing a good job representing us, though. We have no morning warmup so we have to get the problem fixed without going back on the track. We can definitely win here from the eighth position, though."

Marco Andretti, #26 NYSE Dallara/Honda/Firestone "I'm not happy with our qualifying effort at all. The car was way too loose. At this place, you shouldn't have to drive the cars. I was on the edge and the car was just too loose. The two setups for the race and for qualifying are very different so I'm confident that we'll have the NYSE car ready for the race tomorrow."

Dario Franchitti, #27 Canadian Club Dallara/Honda/Firestone "In the first practice session we felt like we had a good car. We were really focused on the race setup. During the break we made some pretty good changes to the Canadian Club car, which helped us gain a lot of speed. When we went back out we ran in traffic some and I was really happy with the car. When we went out to run our qualifying simulation there was an accident so we couldn't do the full simulation. I really just have to thank my engineers for giving me such a good setup."
