The price of China's exported automobiles averages $11,200 in H1, up 23% from last year, according to the report.
"China's auto export has experienced fast expansion over the past three years," Fu Peizhao, deputy secretary of China Chamber of Commerce for Export and Import of Machinery and Electronic Products told a Sino-Russian Auto Trade Cooperation Forum in Harbin yesterday.
Last year China exported 353,500 automobiles, with total export revenue of $3.13 billion and 65% of these auto exports are commercial-use vehicles. However, China's export of family sedan began to soar last year.
Official statistics show whereas Middle East Africa and Asia are major markets for China auto exports, Europe has become another major export market for China-made automobiles.
Last year, Russia imported 38,000 China-made automobiles, becoming the largest market for China-made automobiles, jumping from the 6th importer from a year earlier, according to Zhang Xiaoyu, vice-chairman of China Machinery Industry Federation.
