Delphi Corporation Honors Viking Plastics with Pinnacle

VIKING PLASTICS HONORED WITH DELPHI'S 2007 PINNACLE AWARD
CORRY, Pa. (July 31, 2007) - Viking Plastics received Delphi Corporation's
Pinnacle Award for Supplier Excellence. The award, established in 2004,
recognizes Delphi's top supplier partners for their contribution to Delphi's
Excellence culture. The Award also provides annual recognition to a select
group of suppliers based on their quality, cost and delivery performance.
Pinnacle Award winners have met or exceeded Delphi's quality, delivery,
service and competitive costs expectations. Specific criteria for direct
suppliers, such as Viking Plastics, are listed below:
Criteria for Direct (production) Suppliers:
.Green 12 month average quality score on the Delphi supplier scorecard;
.Zero major disruptions, Zero repeat problems and single digit PPM;
.Zero customer impacts for quality;
.Zero parts on controlled shipping;
.Improving trend from 2005 to 2006 in total number of Problem Cases or zero
Problem Cases;
.Green indicator for ISO/TS16949 certification on the compliance section of
the Delphi Supplier Scorecard;
.Not on the QFS/NBH list or controlled shipping list;
.Registered for the problem solver system and has an active supplier
receiver;
.Submitted savings suggestions to the Supplier Suggestion Application on the
Delphi Supplier Portal >$500;
.Greater than 10 parts or greater than US $1 million Annual Purchase Value
and greater than one part;
.Met commodity savings objectives;
.Met requirements as identified in the Delphi customer specific
requirements.
