SPECIAL EVENT (TOPEKA) - SCCA Puts Out the Call for Yokohama Volunteer of the Year Nomination

TOPEKA, Kan. (July 27, 2007) - Twenty-five champions will be crowed at the SCCA National Championship Runoffs Presented by AT&T, but without volunteers, not a single Club Racing event would even be possible. Each year the SCCA honors those volunteers who go above and beyond the call of duty and is currently seeking nominations for those individuals deserving recognition at this year's National Championship Runoffs.

Since 1985, the SCCA has carefully selected a group of volunteers to present with Yokohama Advan Volunteer of the Year awards during the National Championship Runoffs at the conclusion of the Club Racing season. These individuals' roles range from registration to starter, but they all display dedication, enthusiasm and leadership throughout the year.
