The fastest selling next-gen racing video game worldwide Forza Motorsport® 2 that made its American Le Mans Series debut at the Northeast Grand Prix two weeks ago before a record crowd at Lime Rock Park makes its next appearance July 17 in Columbus, OH at the Klein Tools/Lowe's pit stop demonstration to be held at Lowe's Home Improvement store, 1465 Polaris Parkway.

Following the event at Lowe's, the simulators will make their way to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, site of this weekend's Acura Sports Car Challenge, where they will be on display in the fan Midway and available for demonstration.

Racing fans will have the opportunity to experience the game in the ultimate racing setup that includes an authentic racing seat, three 36-inch HD monitors and full Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound. With authentic simulation physics, bone-jarring damage and photo-realistic graphics as well as myriads of licensed tuning and customization options, Forza Motorsport® 2 for Xbox 360 lets American Le Mans Series fans feel every bump in the road, and every jolt of acceleration as they take the corners on such American Le Mans Series' road courses as Sebring International Raceway, Road America, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and Road Atlanta.

"We're looking forward to showing American Le Mans Series fans that the fun doesn't have to end when they leave the race track," said Mike Fischer, General Manager, US Marketing, Xbox 360. "With a level of realism never before seen in a racing game, Xbox 360 with Forza Motorsport® 2 is the only place where you can put your favorite cars through their paces on some of the most popular American Le Mans Series tracks across the country."

The Forza Motorsports 2 simulators will be on hand at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for this weekend's Acura Sports Car Challenge.

In addition to the demonstration, Lowe's will introduce its Lowe's Fan Experience to Columbus-area fans, an interactive fan arena that family members of any age can enjoy. Luis Diaz, who drives for Lowe's Fernandez Racing will be in attendance along with the Lowe's show car to sign autographs along with Corvette Racing driver Jan Magnusson and RLR driver Tom Milner. Lowe's, which is promoting the event in its Columbus-area stores, will also conduct an onsite barbecue for fans, customers and employees.

"The state-of-the-art Xbox 360 simulators add a very special and unique dimension to an event that already is becoming the talk of Columbus," said American Le Mans Series Vice President of Sales and Marketing Clayton Triggs.
