"TRIPLEHEADERS" AT PLYMOUTH WEDNESDAY, MORRIS SATURDAY;
SCHRADER RETURNS FOR "WEDNESDAY NIGHT THUNDER"
"Wednesday Night Thunder" presented by the Richard Petty Driving Experience resumes this Wednesday at Plymouth (Ind.) Speedway and James Robertson, Chett Gehrke and Kyle Hamilton will try to retain their respective point leads in the Regional, Indiana Ford Focus and Kenyon Midget series.
A similar "tripleheader" is slated Saturday at Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Ill. Wednesday's Plymouth Ford Focus race also offers Midwest and UMARA series points and Saturday's Morris event also awards Midwest Ford Focus points. Gehrke also leads the Midwest standings and Mario Clouser is the UMARA Focus leader.
Wednesday's Plymouth program also features the return of NASCAR's Ken Schrader, who will pilot a Ford Racing Focus Midget in the Ford Focus Midget portion of the "tripleheader." Schrader was slated to compete June 27 before rains washed out that night's races.
