Porsche Cars North America Reports June Sales for Canada

ATLANTA--Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars and Cayenne SUVs in the United States and Canada, today announced June sales in Canada of 184 compared to last year's June total of 187 Porsches, a slight dip of 3 percent. Year-to-date, Canada's sales are 1,075, essentially on par with 2006's half year results of 1,109.

June saw healthy demand for Porsche's 2008 Cayenne model with sales of 82, an increase of 61 percent over 2006 when sales were 51.

Sales of Porsche's 911 sports car series remained stable. 911 sales were 65 versus 67 the year prior. For the year, the 911 is up 6 percent.

In addition, dealers sold 48 Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicles.
