Camping World Named Title Sponsor of Watkins Glen International IndyCar Series Race Until 2010

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.--Camping World, American largest retailer of RV and outdoor supplies, accessories and recreational vehicle sales, today announced that it has signed a four-year contract to be the title sponsor of Watkins Glen annual IndyCar Series race. The first event, the Camping World Watkins Glen Grand Prix presented by Honda Generators, will take the green flag this Sunday, July 8th at 3:30 PM.

We are thrilled to partner with Camping World for the next four years as the IndyCar Series title sponsor, stated Craig Rust, President of Watkins Glen International. WGI has a very large and loyal RVing fan-base, not only during our IndyCar Series and NASCAR race weekends but throughout the entire season. We are excited to be able to work with them as they expand their involvement with motorsports sponsorships.

This spring, Camping World announced multi-pronged sponsorships with Richard Childress Racing (RCR) and Kevin Harvick, Inc. (KHI), which includes select sponsorships in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series, the NASCAR Busch Series and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series including the Camping World 200 Presented by RVs.com which just ran at the New Hampshire International Speedway. Camping World also sponsored John Andrettis No. 33 Panther Racing Dallara Honda at this years 91st Running of the Indianapolis 500.

The partnership with Watkins Glen International and Camping World extends through the 2010 race season and gives the RV camping company exclusive rights at the track as the Official RV Retailer, Recreational Vehicle Parts, Accessories and Services Provider. The company will also be named as the Qualifying Day sponsor during the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series weekend on Friday, August 9th before the racing action on Sunday.

The Camping World Watkins Glen Grand Prix features the premier open-wheel cars and stars of the Indy 500 taking on the twists and turns of the historic road-course July 6-8. The racing action will include the Corning Twin 100s Indy Pro Series races on both Saturday and Sunday and the Historic Grand Prix and KONI Challenge races on Saturday. The excitement will be both on and off the track all weekend long and includes fireworks and live music on Friday and Saturday nights.
