Hollenbeck Turns To Berlin For Strong Finish

Hollenbeck Turns To Berlin For Strong Finish

“Kalamazoo Native Looks For Second ARCA Start Of ‘07 With AV3??

MARNE, Michigan (July 3, 2007) - - ARCA RE/MAX Series competitor Jim
Hollenbeck turns to Berlin Raceway for a strong performance in Saturday’s Request
Foods-GFS 200.
Reviewing his prior ARS stats at the .4-mile paved oval, Berlin Raceway has
been the kindest to the Kalamazoo, Michigan native yielding solid finishes.
This weekend Hollenbeck hopes to finish what he started in last year’s event
before he was swept into an early race incident.
Last July after practicing in the top-15, Hollenbeck qualified his machine
solidly in the top-20 only to be involved in an accident on lap four. This
year, Hollenbeck returns with a vengeance and plans to compete in all 200 laps.
“Last year was sheer disappointment,?? said Hollenbeck. “We had a great car.
It was one of the strongest days we’ve ever had as a team but it we couldn’
t close the deal. This year we want to do everything right and grab our first
top-10 finish.??
Hollenbeck turns to Berlin after making his 13th career ARS start last
month at Michigan International Speedway. After having some problems in practice,
Hollenbeck picked up nearly a second in qualifying to put him 29th on the
starting grid.
Firing off like a rocket ship at the start of the race, it appeared that
Hollenbeck had enough power to put himself solidly in the top-20. Unfortunately,
for the second consecutive year, engine failure would strike Hollenbeck at
MIS just 13 laps into the race putting him out of the event with a
disappointing 36th place finish.
“We’re definitely looking to rebound after our run at Michigan,?? Hollenbeck
stated. “While I’m disappointed that we lost a motor at Michigan, I have to
be grateful for us making the race after the problems we had during
practice. Andy Belmont was gracious enough to loan us some of his team members for
the week and they helped us tremendously. I thank him and his guys for that.??
Another reason the second-generation driver is looking forward to his
hometown track is for the second consecutive race, Hollenbeck has picked up
sponsorship from _AV3_ (http://av3online.com/) .
_AV3_ (http://av3online.com/) was started so physicians could control their
lives and destiny. The company was founded by four vascular surgeons who are
familiar with the current limitations and opportunities of the constantly
changing health care environment. _AV3_ (http://av3online.com/) stands to
improve the quality of healthcare within the physician’s control.
Joining _AV3_ (http://av3online.com/) this week will be Spectra
Contracting, a successful contracting business owned by Hollenbeck.
“We’re glad to have _AV3_ (http://av3online.com/) back onboard this
weekend at Berlin Raceway. We tried to give them a strong run in their ARCA debut
but couldn’t make it happen. We’re getting a second chance and we plan to
make the best of it.??
For the second straight race, Hollenbeck has united with Andy Belmont Racing
and will carry the No. 62 for Saturday’s race. Hollenbeck is also expected
to get guidance and additional at track support from ABR.
“You can’t say enough about Andy Belmont,?? Hollenbeck said. “He is a good
guy. He always helps people and has always been there for me. I thank him for
that. Hopefully we can have a good run on Saturday night and move his second
number up in the point standings.??
Hollenbeck Motorsports still has openings on their Ford for the remainder of
the 2007 season. Immediate one race or long term sponsorship positions are
