*OLD BRIDGE TOWNSHIP RACEWAY PARK -- ENGLISHTOWN, NEW JERSEY*

*Jason Line after fourth consecutive win at Raceway Park*
ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. (June 20, 2007) -- Reigning NHRA POWERade Pro Stock
champion Jason Line goes after his fourth consecutive win at Old Bridge
Township Raceway Park when qualifying begins on Friday for the
professional classes at the 38th annual NHRA ProCare Rx SuperNationals.
Line has put his KB Racing LLC Summit Racing Equipment Pro Stock Pontiac
GTO in the winner's circle in 2004 (over Kurt Johnson), 2005 (over
Warren Johnson), and 2006 (over Dave Connolly), becoming the only Pro
Stock driver to win three consecutive races at Raceway Park. In fact,
KB Racing has had a driver in the winner's circle for the last five
years as Line's teammate, Greg Anderson, won here in 2002 (over Jeg
Coughlin) and 2003 (over Darrell Alderman).
After nine events, Line is currently fourth in the NHRA POWERade Pro
Stock point standings. With five wins this season in five final-round
appearances, Greg Anderson, also in a KB Racing LLC Summit Racing
Equipment Pro Stock Pontiac GTO leads the POWERade Pro Stock standings
with 836 points. Line has 593 points, 243 points behind his teammate.
Sandwiched in between Anderson and Line is Jeg Coughlin in second with
657 points (-179) and Coughlin's teammate Dave Connolly, with 607 points
(-229), in third.
Line has been to three finals rounds in 2007, winning one. For his
career he has 13 wins in 27 final rounds.
"There are reasons for our success at KB Racing and a large part of that
success can be attributed to the team that has been assembled here,"
said Line on the eve of the start of racing at Englishtown. "We started
the year with a lot of new employees and they have developed, growing
into their role here at KB Racing. I see a lot of positives and we will
only get better through the remainder of this season and on into the
future. It's not just the driver that is responsible for the wins here,
it is the entire crew."
The ProCare Rx SuperNationals is the first of six races in a row that
span from the east coast to the west coast. From Englishtown to Sonoma,
California, with stops in Norwalk, Ohio, Bristol, Tenn., Denver, and
Seattle, it will be a grueling test of teams and their machines. For
many it will be a six-race span that could determine if they have a spot
in the next segment of the Countdown to the Championship. Following the
six races, after a week off, the first segment of the Countdown will
conclude with races in Brainerd, Minn. and Reading, Penn. (For a brief
description of the Countdown to the Championship, see below.)

*COUNTDOWN TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP:* In its simplest form, the Countdown
breaks the $50 million, 23-event NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series season
up into three distinct segments: the 17-race Countdown to 8, the
four-race Countdown to 4 and the two-race Countdown to 1.
After the 17 regular season races, all teams will continue vying for
points, with full fields, but only the top eight drivers continue to vie
for the championship in the four-race second segment. The top four
drivers after the four-race playoff then move to the third and final
segment that will be run over the final two races -- the NHRA ACDelco
Las Vegas Nationals in Las Vegas and the NHRA Auto Club Finals in
Pomona. While all teams will continue vying for points, with full
fields, only one of the four can be crowned the 2007 champion.
